My experience in education and service work has led my to a new position helping people. As a congressional caseworker, I get to help people who don’t know where to turn, have tried multiple avenues, or simply need help with something they cannot accomplish themselves.I would gladly own that I love what I do. In the ten short years I was an educator, I learned to embrace and relish all the kaleidoscope of different personalities and experiences that can be found in our district and communities.I love helping people and this job suits me well. I am working with a fantastic group of eager young professionals teaching me the ropes under some seasoned guidance from well experienced congressional office managers.This is expanding my understanding of how government bureaucracy works, as well as familiarizing me with the unique challenges and nuances of the Mountain Counties of Western North Carolina. I install the tracking hardware for our refrigerated trailers as well as installing idle-free hvac units in our sleeper tractors. I assist master mechanics on larger scale drivetrain work as well as perform routine service, brake, shock, oil, coolant, and tire changes. I also assist electrical system diagnostics and repair, road compliance, body work and signage. I take great pride in my work.I endeavor to complete all my work to the highest standards because the drivers, and those they share the road with, trust their safety, livelihood, and lives in the work we do to keep their trucks running in tip-top shape.
