  Physically worked alongside and managed 20+ employees in all day to day warehouse operations of a start-up Waste to Fuel Company, specifically focused on the recycling and international shipping of recyclable waste carpet, which my brother and I established in 2011. More specifically, employment, prioritization, and delegation of daily operations, inventory/production/efficiency tracking, intermodal arrangement, loading/shipping, equipment maintenance, hiring/firing, AP/AR, payroll, and customer relations. Established a baseline and recorded a daily cost efficiency/productivity report prepared for both shareholders, and management partners. Conducted regular risk assessments and quality assurance reviews to evaluate and operate accordingly to satisfy the standards of safety regulations and provide a safe work environment compliant with both OSHA and the City of Oakland’s rules and regulations.  Trained new hires, as well as educated employees promoted to managerial roles to identify and avoid the potential for oversight in policies, safety procedures, and workers comp incidents.
