About David Hart

I am currently a research analyst for Chairman Jeffrey Roy of the Joint Committee on Telecommunications, Utilities and Energy. I am a recent MPP graduate from the UMass Amherst School of Public Policy. I also graduated in December 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in political science as well as a minor in sociology.I chose to pursue my master's in public policy because of my motivation to make a difference. Through studying public policy, I hope to enact the change our society needs. I have experience in clean energy/climate policy, detailed research, and campaign work. From these past positions, I have learned crucial skills such as efficient time management, and how to be a leader.
