I joined the University of Bristol Chemistry Department as part of the Chemical Synthesis CDT, completing my PhD in 2019 under the supervision of Professor Chris Willis investigating natural product synthesis and biosynthesis. I then joined the research group of Dr Alastair Lennox for postdoctoral research into new electrochemical methods and reactor designs. In 2022, I moved to the University of Alberta, Canada, to research the synthesis of novel boron-containing heterocycles in the Hall lab.In 2024 I started a new role in Process Development at AstraZeneca.
