As a mudlogger technician I was tasked with learning about geological formations and analyzing the composition of downhole drilling fluid “mud”. I also had to learn proper safety procedures for both on and off shore oil rig sites adhering to strict safety protocols. While on rig sites I would collect and analyze drilling mud samples from rig shakers to assess composition and detect hydrocarbon presence, ensuring the accuracy of data for operational decisions.

As a quality control lead I was tasked with the supervision of a crew of 14 and assigning them work stations based on their abilities and experience. Ensured all inspection procedures were executed to meet company standards and industry regulations, maintaining high levels of accuracy and precision in the inspection process utilizing specialized tools. Another duty of mine included monitoring work orders and the processing of material as it pertained to the customers specifications and schedule identifying and reporting disruptions in the threading process caused by operator or inspector error or supply chain issues. I worked proactively to resolve problems and maintain operational continuity and optimize efficiency.
