Screw Machine Products has Multi-Spindle as well as Swiss Screw Machines, CNC Lathes and CNC Mills. Total responsibility for profitability, sales, administration, accounting, purchasing and personnel. Parrish Enterprises purchased SMPC, located in Denver, CO in 1989. From the date of acquisition, I was very involved with SMPC from a corporate level. After several manager changes and consistent losses, I volunteered to temporarily relocate to Denver in order to find a good manager and indoctrinate him into the Parrish system. Upon arriving at SMPC as interim manager, I reduced the staff by 50%, increased sales and production by 100% and brought the division to profitability. As a result of these improvements, I was asked to stay in Denver and continue to build this division. By building a great team of highly qualified personnel, I took SMPC from losing an average of $300k per year to a profit of $300k per year with sales of $1.8 million.

Responsible for cash planning for this multi-state operation, corporate insurance, employee benefits, corporate systems development, new company startup and integration, management of Accounting, Credit, Sales, and Data Processing department managers.
