From the date of acquisition, I was very involved with SMPC from a corporate level. After several manager changes and consistent losses, I volunteered to temporarily relocate to Denver in order to find a good manager and indoctrinate him into the Parrish system. Upon arriving at SMPC as interim manager, I reduced the staff by 50%, increased sales and production by 100% and brought the division to profitability. As a result of these improvements, I was asked to stay in Denver and continue to build this division. By building a great team of highly qualified personnel, I took SMPC from losing an average of $300k per year to a profit of $300k per year with sales of $1.8 million.
