I followed "Lighting" injection molds which consist of facilitating design reviews, tracking engineering changes, assisting purchasing in sourcing, coordinating mold tryouts with plant personnel, and working closely with New Model Engineering and the Mold Suppliers. Molds ranged from 90 ton to 1250 ton single shot and 1250 ton multicolor molds. I work closely with Ford PD in feasibility / part designs, and coordinating feasibility issues with the mold designs, to the lighting team ensuring Best Practice in mold design is kept.
