I received my undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of South Florida (USF) in 2012. After which, I returned to USF to obtain MBA with a concentration in Finance. During the process of completing the MBA program at USF, I was given the opportunity to consult with St. Pete Brewing Company, a small brewery in Saint Petersburg, FL. Throughout the consultation process, I gained valuable experience in how small businesses operate; how they generate their financial statements, make their projections, and use those projections to make meaningful decisions.Currently, I work at Raymond James Financial as a Data Analyst where I analyze security pricing to ensure consistency in portfolio valuations and obtain values for securities on client statements. I also work as a liaison between pricing vendors and branches to resolve pricing issues, provide historical price information for date of death evaluations, as well as split-adjusted and non-split-adjusted prices. Furthermore, I aid financial advisers and home office personnel in solving pricing problems and issues related to client accounts and statements.As a result of my hard work, will, and determination at Raymond James, I was given the opportunity to pursue a passion of mine with an investment banking internship with its Diversified Industrials Group. I am presently balancing the internship with my position as a data analyst. Being a part of the intern program has given me invaluable experience working on pitches, CIMs, as well as listening in on MPs. I have also been afforded the opportunity to practice some DCF and LBO financial modeling as well.
