About David Kunz
I am a current undergraduate student who recently transferred from Clemson University to The Citadel to complete my bachelor's in Electrical Engineering while concurrently working full-time to finance the remainder of my education. I am currently seeking post-graduation employment opportunities as an electrical engineer following my current graduation date of May 2025.I first developed a passion for engineering during middle school, where I was able to take a PLTW class which introduced me to the field. I continued upon this PLTW pathway all throughout middle and high school. These classes allowed me to further explore my passion for engineering, as well as a number of different engineering concentrations. It was in high school that I was able to really explore electrical engineering, which swayed me towards the discipline for my undergraduate studies. Here I am, over a decade following my first experience with engineering and still at it to this day. Throughout my time pursuing my undergraduate degree, I have had the privilege to work for many prestigious companies and among many great engineers. Throughout these internship opportunities, I've gained practical experience in problem-solving and data analysis in tools such as MATLAB, Excel, and LabVIEW to name a few. Additionally, I've gained invaluable exposure to design and drafting work in numerous industries using CAD software such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Visio. Through my current and former professional opportunities, I've learned how to collaborate as a member of an engineering and/or professional team. Through this collaboration, I've also learned how to lean upon the experience and knowledge of those on my team when my own does not stretch far enough.Aside from my academic and professional career in engineering, I enjoy playing chess, watching baseball, and working with various art mediums. I am always looking to expand my network, so don't hesitate to reach out and connect.
