The ESC role continually develops skills in tenacity, self direction, closing deals and the ability to succeed with a UK wide territory. The field based role involves selling training services to major UK customers. The role requires the ability to use a consultative sales approach to deliver best customer value, develop and execute against account plans.

This role developed my planning and self direction skills as I had to Identify and close sales opportunities for Education Services by using after point of sales data across all of EMC UK & Ireland

The associate programme instilled the ‘need to win’ attitude that was necessary to exceed cold calling targets. This role was spent at DELL as a funded EMC resource. The role involved daily cold calling to identify sales opportunities for DELL and EMC. The DELL role gave me great experience of the EMC commercial model and how to position IT solutions to.

Using the Meta-Morphose graduate selection process the Associate Sales Representative (ASR) scheme was an accelerated I.T. sales programme that developed core skills in positional selling, achieving +$1,000,000 pipeline from cold calling.
