Managing back office functions to support front line Children's, Adult Social care and prevention services.Functions include IT Application support and development, Financial Assessment and management of Direct Payments, Deferred Payment Scheme and cash personal budgets. Payments to care providers, monetary care (debt management), business and administration support, Foster care payments, invoicing, orders and petty cash management.Additionally I manage the capital programme for new buildings and building repairs across schools and other council sites on behalf the council, manage health and safety for school trips and have an active role in ensuring education provision for new housing development's.Currently I am maintaining management of the customer engagement and information services for the People Directorate. Leading on internal and external communications, online developments and the statutory Family Information Service and Adult Information Services.I develop, lead and support the transformational programmes to support front line services improvement plans including chairing and supporting regional initiatives with ADASS (Association of Directors of Adult Social Services) and the local Health CCG on the NHS Digital roadmap programme.

Takes the lead role in determining the processes and system solutions for providing the intelligence to support service delivery and drive improvement in outcomes for service users across Children's and Adult Services delivered by the Local Authority.Takes the lead in providing effective business support infrastructure and resources that adds value to the direct services within the Directorate.Acts as the Council’s nominated lead officer for national, regional and local programmes, involving technology solutions to support the statutory functions of Children and Young People’s Service and Adult Social Services.Manages the strategic vision and resources to support the effective use of multiple Contact Management Solutions (CMS), Management information systems and supporting technologies to ensure the safeguarding of children and raising of achievement across the People Directorate, maintained schools and partnership boards where the People Directorate have the lead role.To take the lead role in developing effective systems for managing data, and the development of management information for performance monitoring.To be responsible for the provision of financial and benefits assessment to service users and take the lead on customer information and channel migration for People Directorate.To directly lead and manage a designated area of operational responsibility.
