*Well-rounded in and passionate about the broad area of sports media.I see sports, whether it is high school, collegiate or professional, as a window to the world. When I am writing a game story about a high school football playoff game, announcing the latest sports news on the radio, editing game highlights or gathering sports information, I am highly engaged in the task. Sports media has always been a big part of my life and I give it my all every day. I thoroughly enjoy my current position as a sportswriter/reporter for CSL Insider, a north suburban Chicago high school website. I was equally passionate about my former job as a Production Assistant/Production Intern at the Big Ten Network in Chicago as well as a Radio Programming Intern for ESPN Radio-1000 and a Sports Production Intern at WGN-TV.*Dedicated to getting all the facts and to finding human interest while telling a storyI take sports reporting very seriously and I want to present the athletes, coaches and teams in the best light whenever possible. I'm all about finding out the facts, keeping it real and going for high interest regardless of the medium, whether it is for print, online or broadcast or whether I am involved with editing, publicity or programming. My journalism background gave me the tools to find the truth and most salient information from all that is presented to me and not to neglect to dig deeper.*Striving to utilize the most current trends without sacrificing accuracyI see online writing and new media as enhancing my craft. While I regularly make use of this media, it is never at the expense of accuracy.
