Profile bio

About David James

I have founded five startups, with three already having successful exits. During my five years in Silicon Valley, I navigated the dot-com bubble, dot-com burst, and the aftermath of 9/11. When I created Juggle Street in 2014, I had children in daycare, primary school, high school, and university, and my wife had a demanding job. As a father of four, I understood the stress of finding and maintaining the right care for your family. In 2020, we faced the unique challenges of operating a local employment marketplace during Covid lockdowns, and the global pandemic changed the workplace for ever. Juggle Street successfully adapted and continues to improve the daily juggle for working parents, empowering them to work from home and from the office. Now with over 140,000 registered users and more than 60,000 successful childcare job placements, Juggle Street has been a force for good in hundreds of communities across Australia & New Zealand. Juggle Street continues to evolve to achieve its vision of making in-home care accessible and affordable for everyone at every stage of life. The majority of Juggle Street’s registered families are in the Sandwich-Generation, ie. busy working families sandwiched between raising their children and taking care of their aging parents. This puts Juggle Street in a unique position to leverage its real-time technology platform and trusted marketplace to expand into in-home Aged Care, Allied Health, and the NDIS.

Listed skills include Start Ups, Capital Raising, Company Director, Board Development, and 21 others.
