Hello, my name is Dave. Since 2013 or so, my work experience and education have changed a great deal. I've gained a lot of Tech Support experience. I've learned a good amount about Windows and applications like Active Directory, Microsoft Office, and Salesforce, to name a few. I've supported Cisco products like WebEx, Jabber, and AnyConnect. From VMware, I've also supported the Mobile Device Management product, Workspace ONE, and used vSphere to support Virtual Desktop Infrastructures (VDIs). I've also learned a lot about incident management and how a corporate IT environment operates. Previously, I worked in a smaller IT support environment and learned a lot about web hosting.In 2020, I completed the last of the courses needed to obtain a Master's degree in Computer Information Systems, with a Software Development concentration, from Bellevue University. I believe that the abilities that I acquired in my Tech Support experience will help me be a better Software Developer, namely collaboration, problem solving, and serving the customer. I'm excited to put my knowledge of the Software Engineering process, along with my programming skills in C++ and Java, to good use at my next job.
