When I first started this job I was in charge of the smooth running of the stockroom until full time management was found. My duties include processing deliveries in time making sure all new lines were out before the opening of the store. I was put in charge of dealing with head office transfers, this was an important job as it was vital all the stock was signed in and out correctly so it wouldn’t damage our stock loss. I also processed all the stock that needed going back to our Distribution Centre. When the manager is away I lead the team and run the stockroom.

My current role is varied on a day to day basis dependent on the departments needs; A few of my main responsibilities are to ensure that online customer orders are picked accurately to ensure that when they reach the charging stations they will be billed correctly. I also process incoming returns from online customers; these have to be checked thoroughly to spot fraudulent returns. During our sale periods and promotions we often have to accommodate an uplift in sale on our internet site which means we must employ some temporary staff, it is my responsibility to look after and train them to the level required by AllSaints Retail.
