• Providing senior-level project management support for a major retail banking company in the area of enterprise data management (EDM).• Managing efforts to analyze existing backup processes for over 17,000 databases, create a complete view of the current state of database backups of all EDM-supported distributed systems, identify retention recovery backup files and execution durations, identify and resolve conflicts or gaps, remediate scheduling conflicts, and produce a new end-to-end backup process for each application.• Managing efforts to establish a standard data management/backup solution for all of EDM that meets or exceeds retention requirements, addresses scalability for all database sizing, provides transparency for backup frequency and location, improves reliability, and ensures data availability whenever recoveries or restorations are required.• Identifying project financial and resource needs, as well as negotiating with various technology groups to obtain needed support for each project phase.• Tracking progress of all project deliverables, determining critical path activities, identifying delivery slippages, and identifying cross-project impacts and dependencies.• Coordinating and interacting directly with business and technology management, operations and technology support teams, Project Sponsors, Key Stakeholders, and subject matter experts.• Capturing, documenting, and monitoring risks/issues from identification through mitigation, acceptance, and/or closeout utilizing proven risks/issues management processes and strategies.

Program management as part of the Project Support Office, Asset Management & Enterprise Services Group.

• Providing program-level and project management support for Wachovia/Wells Fargo Bank’s Financial Advisor, Consumer Relations, Retail Banking, Workflow and Documentation Imaging, and Infrastructure groups as part of their ongoing merger efforts.• Managing an $800k 3i FileNet Infrastructure upgrade and server move for all test environments, including the acquisition of new servers and the retirement of existing servers, as well as decentralizing the environments’ current locations to ensure data integrity while providing more efficiency in data management and recovery.• Managing financial systems software development projects relative to the bank’s investment strategies and retail customer offerings.• Managing a multi-million dollar software development and data migration effort to transfer over 10 million financial documentation images and related data files from the existing legacy platform to the new Content Manager 8 data repository.• Managing the development and implementation of a signature capture system that allows retail banking representatives to capture, store, and retrieve customer signature images when opening new accounts and updating existing accounts, as well as providing retail representatives with functionality needed to validate customer signatures while conducting daily transactions.• Working directly with multiple financial and banking retail lines-of-business (LOB’s) management teams in identifying key business needs, and in designing/implementing new applications, modify existing applications and systems, or acquiring off-the-shelf applications that most effectively meet those needs.• Assisting LOB’s in project funding acquisition efforts, identifying business cases, defining and documenting business requirements, and completing initial risk assessments as part of each project’s initiation phase, as well as managing those projects throughout their software development life-cycle.

• Provided technology delivery and project management support for Bank of America’s system for globally Retail Banking, Anti-Money Laundering, Fraud, Investigative Services, and Corporate Security investigations, as well as supporting their Economic Sanctions group. • Managed the client’s migration from an internally produced risk case manager (RCM) system built using Lotus Notes and Digital Harbor to a vendor produced and customized tool. • Managed employee and consultant developers, analysts, and testers needed to support enhancements and customization to RCM and related dashboard and suspicious activity reporting system.

• Providing senior-level IT project management support for institutional and individual statements - including quarterly statements and Consolidated Retirement Statements. • Assessing overall project annual budgets, schedules, issues, and risks, as well as facilitating resolution and escalation for slippages, high priority issues, and high probability/impact risks.• Tracking project progress - including capturing actuals for employees and contingent workers; tracking costs; project-level forecasting; and documenting all variances.• Identifying steps and supporting the move from an application-based to a matrix-based organization• Implementing best practices in project and productivity management, as well as quality management.• Managed over 23 internal and external developers, analysts, and testers in new application development and production support efforts, as well as in configuration and integration management.• Member of the Change Management and Problem Management boards.

• Provided program management support for a $100M financial solutions program implementation effort. • Assessed overall program/project issues and risks management performance, as well as facilitating the resolution and/or escalation of schedule slippages, high priority issues, and high probability/impact risks.• Tracked program/ project spending; including actuals for labor and contractor services, hardware and software expenditures; forecasting; and documenting variances.• Implementing best practices in program, project, and productivity management.• Managed over 30 programmers, analysts, and subcontractors in new application development and maintenance, quality assurance, configuration and integration management, and legacy systems management – including off-shore resources.• Spearheaded client software development solutions and other IS/IT initiatives embracing the SEI Capability Maturity Model (CMM) evaluated at levels 1 through 3.• Coordinated efforts of 14 developers and facilitated quality assurance compliance for all deliverables.• Managed new development and maintenance for 12 Human Resources (HR) legacy systems, including medical historical information data warehousing.• Twice recipient of Keane’s award for client-recognized excellence in Project Management.• Served on client’s Release Management and Planning Boards, as well as the Project Management Center of Excellence.
