- Nationally recognized technical expert in the area of aircraft propulsion system T&E- Ten years experience as 412th Test Wing’s Propulsion Integration Technical Expert, plus- Twenty years of test experience at Edwards AFB, testing the worlds most advanced aircraft, propulsion, and integrated systems. Over 100 flight hours in military fighter aircraft.- Expert knowledge of: Aircraft engines, inlets, thrust vectoring, digital controls, and aircraft integration- Tested and evaluated full spectrum of aircraft: Cargo, Fighter, Bomber and UAVs- Led effort to determine applicability of digital thread model-based concepts to aid T&E. Techniques involved using laser scan measurement of aircraft and propellers to develop CAD models for CFD aerodynamic predictions and ultimate determination of aircraft climb performance - Implemented AFTC vision for Statistically Defensible Testing. Developed numerous case studies using confidence and power to quantify test matrix size, regression and information theoretic approaches for model development, as well as the application of extreme value statistics.
