• Managed staff of 50 and yearly hardware budget of ~$175K, focusing in four unique areas: • Compatibility and Technology (CAT) Lab – Responsible for testing of all hardware (video cards, sound cards, CPU, memory accounts, OS, controllers, and mice) against software at each stage of production – pre-alpha through final • Compliance - Responsible for 1st party (Microsoft, Apple, Nintendo, and Sony)compliance of standards across multiple gaming platforms and operating systems. This is handled by creating compliance test cases, running compliance test cases, reporting results to Production and core QA, and maintaining compliance test cases based on information and updates gathered from 1st party manufacturers. Primary source of 1st standards updates and interpretation for Production and core QA • Desktop Support – Provide all IT desktop support for entire EARS QA department. Responsible for: ~$1MM worth of hardware including tracking, inventory, and maintenance of inventory, supporting 500 testers and maintaining the EARS QA Clean Network Testing room, put in all facilities requests. • DevTrack Administration – Responsible for creation and management of DevTrack databases for all EA games and work with teams not using DevTrack to gather data as required from other departments • Designed and implemented World Wide Quality Assurance (WWQA) Customer Satisfaction survey which lead to improved processes and internal customer satisfaction • Partnered with Senior Customer Support Project Managers to develop and implement a strategy for improved communication and data sharing between WWQA and Customer Support (CS). • Managed staff of 82 Junior Engineers responsible for game development tools and specialized testing. Engineers focused in 3 main areas: • Central Tools Group (CTG) Test Engineers – 12 staff supporting 13 tools, working directly with engineers to write test cases and test tools created by CTG before those tools are made available to production teams • Tools Test Engineers – 45 staff assigned to specific development groups working directly with engineers to write test cases and test tool interface with specific titles, are final check before tools released to development and create daily builds that are used by development and QA • DevTest – 25 staff assigned to specific development teams and working directly with developers to write test cases and perform specialized feature testing as requested by production

• Managed all aspects of a 10 man testing team including all hiring, training of new technicians, annual review/merit discussions, and HR issues • Worked directly with development teams and independent hardware vendors to solve compatibility issues before product shipment • Provided independent hardware vendors with pre-release builds and acquired latest released and development hardware • Maintained knowledge of latest developing technologies
