1974-1980 Felony prosecutor for Hennepin County MN involving daily courtroom experience for seven years. Represented Hennepin County in Appellate matters at all levels from the Minnesota Supreme Court to the United States Supreme Court. 1981-1983 Executive Director of the Minnesota County Attorneys' Association. Oversaw the activity of the nonprofit group, developed training courses for County Attorneys, directed the lobbying effort at the state legislature, initiated and directed fund raising efforts, and represented the organization with the National District Attorney's Association.1984-1993- Private Practice, David W. Larson & Associates. Represented governmental units in litigation where the unit needed specialized help, primarily in civil rights litigation in Federal Court. Represented business in all aspects from formation, debt collection, business and ownership disputes, commercial real estate and bankruptcy court representation.1994-2020- Attorney, Hessian & McKasy P.A. Litigation representation for businesses. Commercial Litigation involving contract issues, Director and Officer and minority shareholder issues, and employment litigation. Construction litigation with claims of construction defects representing owners, architects, general contractors, and subcontractors.
