Managing 7 staff £30+ million school and regeneration projects

Managing the Branch Libraries Programme - establishing master Gantt chart Programme and cost plans for the programme managing a PM and APM covering 6 projects.

Programme Manager responsible for 7 staff covering Housing projects total value approx £30M

Responsible for securing the Agreement for Leases for the delivery of Phase 1 of the Government Hubs Locations Programme creating 13 Regional Centres, Specialist sites, Transitional sites and EU Exit sites, consolidating from 170 existing offices nationally relocating approximately 56,000 staff.

Updating Carbon Management Plan, Asbestos Re-surveys, Smoothing Stock Condition 10 year Long Term Maintenance Plan, office moves for VIP's (Ruth Kelly, Mary McAleese), Programming Waldegrave Suite of Projects Grade I Listed Building, numerous projects.

Working with Powys County Council to create Wales first Local Asset Backed Vehicle (LABV) as a Limited Liability Partnership through an EU OJEU Competitive Dialogue procurement process. Wrote the Operating Model and managed EY, Bevan Brittan, DTZ and internal resources to progress the project.

I am currently working on the feasibility of a LABV Local Asset Backed Vehicle for Powys County.Working on the Primary School Modernisation programme as a transition project manager I have helped deliver 4 new Primary schools in Ystradgynlais co-ordinating 17 work streams, delivered on time and to budget to the client's satisfaction.

I am having a well deserved break and I am spending some quality time with my wife and new born son who arrived in our lives on the 6th April 2012 after a period of IVF treatment.

Responsible for project / programme managing the design and construction of 9No Integrated Service Centres (ISC's) around Leicester - of which 5 No were modular design with the remaining 4No being traditional design and construction. Responsible for programme management of the £324M programme of secondary schools, SENs and ancillary projects including work streams for Construction, HR, IT, FM, Education, Legal and Financial aspects. Working to PRINCE 2 standards for individual projects ensuring Risks, Issues were recorded and acted upon and internal and external audits were complied with. During this period the team managed the completing of SFC 2 and the OBC securing the funding for the programme with Pfs.

Responsible for the technical appraisal of the Contractors Proposal against the Authority Requirements. Developed the AR's to strengthen them for the Authority, negotiated the derogation's to the contract documents minimizing the risk to the Authority.Worked up to and included Financial Close when all documents were signed off by all parties.
