David is a highly experienced Ecologist and Company Director at Barrett Environmental Ltd with a demonstrated history of working in environmental services, countryside management and conservation. An all-round ecologist and skilled protected species surveyor David has notable specialisms in wetland ecology, amphibians and bats and and is the named ecologist on numerous Natural England mitigation licences. He has a Master's degree in Environmental Management (Distinction), is a Full Member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) and a Chartered Environmentalist with the Society for the Environment. Away from work David is drawn to the great outdoors where he enjoys the contrast of the mountains with playing in the sea. He is currently accruing hours towards his sea kayak leadership qualification.
