After obtaining a degree in 3d design from Bournemouth Arts Institute, I started my career as a Playground and play equipment designer. This was great fun , but after 5 years decided to change subject. I moved into events and exhibitions including project management and on site installs, which then led on to retail design and POS items.I currently design mainly retail interiors and window displays for a sports top brand.I am competent in the use of Cinema 4d with corona or redshift render engine, Vectorworks , Blender , Auto CAD and 3ds Max . Have experience with sketch up and most other Adobe software including Premier , Photoshop , InDesign and illustrator. Agisoft photoscan and experimenting with 3d sculpting software Z-brush are recent hobbies to add skills in the 3d area.I have experience operating CNC machines cutting a range of materials (MDF , Foamex , Card etc) able to draw cutpaths to aid workshop builds. I can manage install teams and also help out on builds on site.Comfortable working on a PC or Mac operating system and can learn new techniques quickly.I consider myself as a steady worker with an eye for detail, sound freehand skills in a range of styles. I can draw up solutions to range of design briefs in a broad range of materials to suit budgets.David Longworth
