MCAN promotes policy awareness and propagates successful local and municipal actions to reduce climate impacts in homes and businesses in communities. I led strategic planning, and help with conference, hiring, and fund raising. Leader, Climate Action Brookline, 2007-9; Board 2007-present: I infused new vigor, strategic direction and organizational capacity among local concerned citizens to build a showcase MCAN Affiliate chapter. I established the first ever budget, wrote five successful proposals to state, town, and private foundations, hired and oversaw a Campaign Director, expanded the network from 40 to 800 individuals and established successful strategic alliances and outreach projects across all community sectors. CONCURRENT & RELATED: Co-founded Brookline Climate Week, entering its 8th year. Spurred establishment of official town climate body: Selectmen's Climate Action Committee. Adviser to Green Homes Brookline; Solarize Brookline Team: 63 solar contracts in 4 months; Seeded inter-town engagement challenge with Newton Mayor and our Town Administrator.
