Redesigned part for better quality / production time. The casting process at Andritz for a large screw was creating pinch points. Collaborated with Foundry Manager to improve screw design and pattern work. Resulted in a higher-quality screw casting that required 60% fewer man hours to clean: reducing effort from 30 hours to 10 hours.
