Responsible for providing technical leadership for: new equipment installation, existing equipment modifications and equipment troubleshooting and repairs. Support in increasing equipment up-time and continuous improvement of plant and associated equipment. Types of equipment worked on includes: Large rotating equipment, bulk transfer equipment, pumps, conveyors, pneumatic conveying equipment, mixers, blenders, coating lines, ovens, oxidizers, incinerators, embossing machines, calendars, mills, banbury mixers, and conveyors.Projects worked on included: 1) Upgrade of bulk mixing station which included adding auto oil weigh system, larger oil weigh tanks to increase batch size, and installing transducers on mixers to weigh resin as it is loaded. The project also included installing inline mixing system to feed coating line which reduced color variation and reduced man power requirements. 2) Selection, design and installation of knit application station on coating line which increased capacity of coating department by 50%. 3) Modification of final inspection department which included redesign of inspection machines, relocation of inspection machines and removal of transfer conveyor. This modification reduced external defective product, and increased efficiency. 4) Project managed installation recuperative thermal oxidizer.

Responsible for providing: project management and engineering from initial customer contact through startup of equipment. Types of equipment worked on included, straight line steam vacuum cappers, rotary cappers, spin cappers, cap sorters, steam cappers, pneumatic conveying systems, and defect detection systems.

On loan from Sponseller Group, inc. as a Maintenace/Project Engineer. Responsibilities included: design of modifications to existing production machines, supervise fabrication of parts and modification of existing machines. Duties also included cost estimating for future capital projects and the coordination of installation of new equuipment. Types of equipment worked on included: plastisol coating lines, vinyl calenders, print and finish equipment, inspection equipment and roll wrapping equipment.

Responsibilities included: design of special test machines used for testing accelerator cables and manual transmission cables. I was also responsible for the setup and trouble shooting of these machines.
