Starting off in the realm of Information Technology very early I have had the opportunity to watch the world grow with evolving IT based solutions and systems.Being involved and having a passion for this has given me the chance to experience many aspects of technologies available and focus in specific areas of IT such as:• Administration (Technical support, project implementations, infrastructure planning)• Server based (Active directory, ISA firewall, DNS, DHCP, GPO's, Remote deployment and access control)• Web based (server configurations, web design and optimization, web security, SEO)• Networking & Security (infrastructure requirements and planning, hard-wired networks, wireless networks and network security testing)• Programming (VB .Net, C#, Java/Jquery, PHP, HTML, VBA, BAT, SH)• Linux (Kali KDE, Ubuntu, slackware, Ubuntu Server, Cent OS)• Local or personal PC’s (hardware, software, peripherals, networking, security and client based automated deployment)• System automation through scripting of custom built applications• Virtualization (Virtual Box, ESXi, Vshpere and HyperV)• Vulnerability Management (OpenVAS, Nessus, SIEM Appliances)Having studied business systems and utilized these skills in the real world has given me a larger view on how important IT systems and strict process implementations are within an organization. Implementing the correct procedures and policies is proven to cut down drastically on wasted time where it be a procedure that is not optimized to suite the organization or if the actual system requirements were not assessed correctly and do not perform.As you progress down the road of IT you get inclined to build your own solutions to cater for very specific features or functions not available from “off the shelf” software, I have worked on millions of lines with programming code whether it be a custom built standalone application or open source systems.Out of personal enjoyment I fiddle with electronic devices, I have seen the application of custom built hardware devices that tie in with software based solutions. My objective is to acquire a better understanding for internal circuitry and assembly code for raw logic functions chips and eventually create my own hardware that can cater for specific scenario requirements.
