During his career, Dave developed skills and gained experience in polymer synthesis, coatings technology, product formulation, commercialization, customer applications, personnel management, project management, technical portfolio management, and technology integration. Currently, Dave holds an honorable position as Senior Fellow, where he is instrumental in identifying and scouting strategic innovations, protecting intellectual property, methods development, and delivery of the chemical product and system solutions for facility cleaning, maintenance, and infection prevention.Dave joined SC Johnson in 1986 as a member of the polymer research group. In 1989, he accepted a position in the professional business-to-business division and advanced with the division as it grew and split as an independent business within the Johnson Family of Companies. Dave joined Sealed Air Corporation in 2011 with the acquisition of Diversey Holdings, Inc., a subsidiary of SC Johnson. And most recently, Dave joined Diversey, Inc. when the division was acquired by Bain Capital from Sealed Air. Dave holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry and biology from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point, where he also studied education and received teacher certification.
