Planning and teaching creative, memorable lessons is at the heart of all that I do. As a Maths Subject Leader; I have relished the opportunity to support colleagues in order to further the development of teaching and learning at Park Hill. As well as this, I have a proven track record of securing outstanding results at Key Stage 2. The teaching of Mathematics was identified as an area for school improvement following the Ofsted inspection of Park Hill Junior School in 2014. In 2016, PHJS came 2nd in the borough of Croydon for achieving ‘Greater Depth’ and 4th in Croydon for average scaled score in Mathematics. My ability to successfully lead staff in the teaching of Mathematics has provided students the best possible environment in which to achieve their full potential. I possess the required determination, vision, passion and adaptability to lead in an aspirational school that values diversity and celebrates achievement.
