Oversaw purchasing and inventory management for the Robert Graham Sportswear brand reporting to the Sales Director. Acted as an expert liaison between sales staff, management, retailers and the Robert Graham Production Management team in New York City. Core responsibilities for launching a luxury fashion season include:• Pricing and Seasonal Set up- Provided the highest level of knowledge and support to sales reps and retailers to optimize sales and market share- Prepared reports for selling season by analyzing historical data and current buying trends - Created, prepared and maintained costing spreadsheets to ensure collection met margin targets- Merchandised showrooms, and created sales forms- Constant communication with vendors regarding samples, pricing and merchandising• Sample Management - Tracked and priced incoming samples as per vendor. Interpreting factors to determine costing/margins- Created internal database and sales forms of collections for sales force and customer service•Purchasing- Worked with Sales Directors to execute seasonal buy, with analysis of seasonal booked units vs. outstanding dollars- Recognized opportunities to minimize lost sales as SKU’s were cancelled in the market, keeping margins high- Maintained strong relationships with factories, vendors, sales reps, logistics and retailers as production proceeded. Executing payments, shipping coordination, ticketing, EDI templates - Determined total loss/gain clearance potentials•Inventory Management- Tracked purchases, sell through, sell outs, excess stock and sample inventory- Received incoming product into software using actual landing factors- Product delivery and allocation of product to customers as received into warehouse•Accounting/Budgets- Created and reviewed budgets with Sales Manager to ensure accuracy - Reviewed income statements regularly in order to proactively identify opportunities that could increase gains and minimize losses for the brand.
