Responsibilities included:-• Responsible for the day to day running of 9 Ready Mixed Concrete plants, 90 direct employees and 45 Owner Drivers. (Multi-site operations across West Midlands) .• Ultimate control for setting and implementation of maintenance procedures and budgets for all Production/Manufacturing/Processing facilities.• Total P&L responsibilities for manufacturing and distribution functions.• Management of in-house logistics in a fast paced multi-drop environment.• Liaison with Heads of Departments for Sales, Financial and Technical disciplines to ensure meeting of Company targets and objectives.• Implementation of Health and Safety Legislation.• Staff development and appraisals.• Liaison with Trade Union Bodies.

Responsibilities included :-• Overall responsibility for Operational control with regard to Health, Safety, Environmental Controls, Quality Standards and Legislation.• Responsibility for the achievement of Profit targets and Waste Management.• Motivating Quarry Management team to achieve business objectives and targets. • Directing monthly Quarry Management Control meetings.• Ensuring implementation if Quarry restoration programmes.

Responsibilities included:-• all previous skills utilised at Hopwas site.• as the flagship Greenfield site, I had additional responsibilities of setting up Liaison Committee meetings with the local community as well as complying with stringent noise, dust and traffic management constraints.

Responsibilities included :-• Maintaining Quarry's production levels, balancing sales and outputs.• Re-aligning Quarry's Production Systems in accordance with material specifications required.• Liaising with Sales, Technical and Commercial teams.• Performance management of the production process to agreed targets. • Preparation of Monthly Management reports for Operations Manager.• Developing links with Local Groups and Organisations to improve relationships in the local community. • Maintaining relevant Government Legislation and Industry Standards.• Implementing inspection systems.• Monitoring and assessing product quality. • Procurement as required.
