CurrentSystems Architecture/Engineering Consulting and Contracting with special emphasis in Satellite Communication SystemsExamples:• Analysis, evaluation and creation of ITU filings using SpaceCap, SpaceVal and SpacePub (including considerations for EPFD)• Program manager and technical contributor for a series of trade studies and analyses to determine the viability and preferred embodiment(s) of a global wireless communications system (including consideration for: capacity, capacity density, coverage, cost, latency, space radiation environments, RF link analysis & availability and overall system availability)• Designed, developed and integrated a Video Management System (VMS) for the P-8A trainer that integrates hardware from IP Video Systems (now Barco), RGB Spectum, Extron, AXIS communications and others with custom developed software.• Software and Simulation development using: Java, C++, Matlab & Perl• Developed the initial architecture, requirements, functional analysis, ICD, IDD, etc. for the P-8A Poseidon Training System• Conducted architecture-level trade studies and analyses for the Iridium Next satellite communications system.• Led a geographically distributed team of 12+ engineers across 5 sites, to develop an architecture for a global Communications, Navigation and Surveillance satellite system to support Air Traffic Management• Proposal development support for multiple DoD and NASA proposals
