While not yet certified, I do have multiple volunteer projects I am spearheading. One is with Assisting Families of Inmates based in Richmond, VA. Starting an initial Salesforce instance with in-house volunteers, they concluded it was time to bring in expert help. Suggesting ways of automating and streamlining Salesforce to take advantage of some of the more advanced features, my goal is to eliminate duplication of effort, especially in that of fundraising and outreach. I also work with Open Heart Leaders in San Diego, CA. This nonprofit works to nurture leadership within disenfranchised communities. I have been auditing their present CRM efforts to consult on the appropriate system for their expanding organizational needs. Selecting Salesforce, they have asked me to remain on board to collaborate with their in-house System Admin, advising him in places in which he is inexperienced.
