So a little about myself, having left school with poor A levels. I joined the Grenadier Guards in 1991 and served until 1995 leaving at the rank of Guardsman. During my time in service is performed an operational tour of Northern Ireland, and attended the Military Training establishment at Beaconsfield. This was due to being recognised to have the ability for possible officer training. However after attending the Regular Commissions Board I was unfortunately unsuccessful.Having left HMForces I had a brief spell as a lifeguard at Center Parcs Sherwood forest. Then in 1996 Joined West Midlands Police, completing my probation and then working as a response officer.In 2000 I transferred to Nottinghamshire Police ( Closer to home) and initially served on response until 2004. Then I was selected and passed the Police Authorised Firearms Officer Course and worked as an AFO until 2008. 2008 I moved to Neighbourhoods, and this was my favourite posting, as I could see the positive results my action Made.However in 2013 Due to my skills as a tutor I returned to response to help young in service officers.2015 I joined Public Protection Passing my NIE in 2016, and after having good results became a mentor/tutor alongside my Dc role.2019 I passed the NPPF exam for the role of Sgt, and in 2020 was given a team of Police Staff Investigators. My Aim being to apply my skills and take them from no knowledge of Policing to accomplished PIP 1 investigators. Not only have I succeeded but the organisation has created another team based on the results I have provided. Also empowering an alternative entry point into investigations.This is where I am currently based and I take over supervision of a new team in April 2022.
