• Responsibility for managing and running on a daily basis a number of projects• Contact for field construction activities, coordinate multiple teams for the installation• Carrying out project work and engineering studies as necessary.• Working with the System Owner on producing and developing the project documentation, feasibility study, URS, scope of works, AutoCAD drawings and tender documents.• Market research for possible engineering solutions.• Ensuring performance monitoring of Providers in compliance with the Company Contractors Plan, • Checking of Contractor documentation (Method Statements, Temporary Traffic Management Plans, staff training records, induction records, CSCS cards etc.) • Ensuring Projects are brought in on time and on budget.• Liaise with the Project Manger to ensure compliance with the Procurement procedures.• Arranging for Providers attendance and induction to site.• Ensuring all works is carried out to the satisfaction of ERTO, and Service Manager. • Compiling all necessary design and O&M documentation.• Taking into account any constraint or conflict with ERTO’s normal day-to-day activities and other Projects, and proposing solutions to manage / mitigate these conflicts.• Keeping records of how their time is spent on the various Projects they are assigned to.• Ensuring the Engineering Change Control procedure is adhered to.• Ensuring compliance with procedures and relevant legislation• Regular project reporting & analysis• Preparation of Feasibility studies and outline scheme designs
