My passion lies within good land management, well performing properties, diverse systems and an eye on the future to ensure adaptation when required.I've built my experience in large scale farm management, which over the past 6 years and turned more to learning to work with the land rather than against it.By harnessing nature, understanding the role of biodiversity in farming systems, encouraging reforestation of marginal land and looking at the core meaning of regeneration, I've been building extra areas of understanding to go alongside day to day management. I believe this helps everyone to see the big picture and allows farms to thrive under new mindsets. Pair that with emissions reduction being a huge driver now and into the future, and having worked with Toitu on NZs first Carbon Neutral farm, I bring a unique skillet to a farming or industry business.
