Assistant Coach to Shane Bond for the Brampton Wolves in the GT20 Canada 2023 Tournament. The team included international players from New Zealand, Australia, Pakistan, Netherlands, UAE, Namibia and Canada such as Tim Southee, Colin de Grandhomme, Mark Chapman, Hussain Talat and Chris Green.

Responsible for the development and implementation of cricket activities, coaching and programming for cricketers of multiple age and talent levels, including League, Associates, Stragglers and Junior Development teams. Facilitate and effectively run the administration of cricket and croquet activities.

My major responsibilities and achievements at Rugby Ontario have been:Responsible for providing leadership to Rugby Ontario on Member and Government Relations, Finance and General operational matters, including management of Communications, Registrations and Discipline. Since 2013, I have played a leading role in the development and implementation of the Rugby Ontario Governance and Operational Manuals and Strategic Plan, successful application for over $250K in Provincial and Federal Grants and a 200% plus increase in social media following (e.g Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) from 2014 to 2017. In partnership with both Rugby Canada and Ontario rugby clubs, responsible for the development and implementation of growing the game initiatives, designed to increase the awareness of rugby in the general community and increase the number of active participants (players, coaches, officials, volunteers). From 2013 to 2017, Rugby Ontario has seen an increase of over 55% in minor (Under 12) club rugby registrations and in 2017 the introduction of rugby to over 50,000 elementary school aged children.

Responsible for the day to day operations of a Provincial Sporting Organisation with 10 full time staff, a membership including 67 Rugby clubs and Branch Unions with over 10,000 individuals members and an annual budget for $1.9 million.During this time period, Rugby Ontario was successful in achieving over $180,000 in new grant funding ($140,000+ Provincial and $40000+ Federal).

Responsible for direction and implementation of programs for the Canadian Men's, Women's and National youth teams. Work in conjunction with Sport Canada, International Cricket Council and Cricket Canada stakeholders for the growth and development of the game of cricket.

Responsible for providing specialist coaching services to the most elite male and female cricketers in Canada.

Coaching Consultant for Cricket Australia in the delivery of their Global Coach Education Program. Presented at Level 3 Coaching Course for West Indies Cricket Board in Fort Lauderdale Florida June-July 2012.

Down Under Cricket offers cricket coaching services to clubs, individuals and schools in Toronto, Canada.Recently emigrating from Australia, David Patterson has 25 years of experience in the cricket industry in establishing and delivering cricket programs at elite, club and school levels.

Responsible for the design and implementation of training programs for the improvement of team and individual player performances.

Design and conduct the Personal Fitness & Activities Course for students. Act as a supply teacher to cover staff absences.

Responsible for the accreditation and ongoing education of over 13 000 accredited cricket coaches across NSW. Coordinate and manage over 50 part time coach education staff. Member of the Cricket Australia Coach Education & Training Committee. Member of the International Cricket Council Coach Education and Advisory Panel.

Responsible for the design and implementation of the Emerging Blues programs for the best elite junior cricketers across NSW. Coach of the NSW Under 17 Cricket team, 6 times National Champions between 1997-2006. Australian players Michael Clarke, Phillip Hughes, Steve Smith, John Hastings, David Warner, Usman Khawaja & Stephen O'Keefe all identified and developed through this program.

Responsible for the design and implementation and head coach of the Annual Cricket program. Team played as the NSW Under 23 Colts team. Program has produced has Australian Test cricketers including Michael Clarke, Brett Lee, Brad Haddin, Nathan Bracken, Doug Bollinger, Phil Jaques, Jason Krejza
