When I was in charge of the kitchen my duties would include stock taking and, ordering stock. Twice a year I was required to travel another pub in Preston to learn the new menu.While working at the Chimneys, I passed my Professional Cookery Level 2 and had training on how to train staff, stock management and how to run a kitchen. I also trained any new team members in both how the kitchen ran and the legal requirements. By the end of my employment at the Chimneys the Kitchen Manager, District Trainer and District Manager had all said they believed I was capable of running my own kitchen.
