As a Territory Services Manager, David is responsible for pre and post sales activities on projects covering the Central Region. Projects consist of cloud adoption strategies, data integration, middleware platform migrations, Agile & DevOps transformations. His responsibilities include positioning professional services around product adoption, scoping projects from a resource and time perspective, aligning the skills of Red Hat's consulting practice to meet the technical demands of projects covering different verticals and products.

As Technical Program Manager, David was responsible for managing multiple work streams during Grosvenor’s acquisition of Credit Suisse’s $25 billion Private Equity business. During the acquisition David helped implement a ‘lift & shift’ model migrating over Credit Suisse’s Private Market applications and data residing in an internal data center into Grosvenor’s private cloud infrastructure hosted in AWS. He was also responsible for instituting a hybrid waterfall/agile approach to manage the project and ensure a successful cut-over of the Private Market’s business. As a member of the acquisition team he also made recommendations to senior level leadership in regards to various on-prem vs. hosted solutions, and staffing throughout the course of the project. The project was deemed a success and Grosvenor was able to complete the acquisition on time and under budget.

As Director of Software Development for Guaranteed Rate, David was responsible for overseeing the development of Guaranteed Rate’s Online Mortgage Application. During the first 18 months post go-live Guaranteed Rate had over $1 billion in loans close through their Online Mortgage Application. This resulted in Guaranteed Rate winning Built in Chicago’s award for Best Corporate Digital Innovation in 2013. While at Guaranteed Rate David was also charged with helping to build out the product roadmap and executing on key strategic decisions pertaining to the direction of Guaranteed Rate’s Online Division. Other responsibilities included staffing and recruitment of talent.

David was involved with the creation and deployment of tools and applications to enable Mercer to better service their institutional investors in areas ranging from strategy implementation to on going portfolio management. Applications were written in the .NET development stack.

David worked with a team of developers & DBA's to produce the HOLT platform to sell to money managers from around the world to help them equate stocks and predict market trends. Platform was written in Java incorporating a number of design patterns and best practices throughout the development cycle.
