In this role he oversees and directs the release of technical documents covering such areas as aerodynamics, thermal, acoustics, and debris. He works with the document authors to ensure that end users needs and comments are integrated in final products. In this role he also presents documents and changes to varying NASA SLS oversight boards.

Performed organizational and liaison duties in the role of SLS Aerodynamics Task Team Integration Lead, ensuring that aerodynamic products were generated on time and met the needs and expectations of the customer. Also provide day of launch support as the Alternate Sub-Discipline Lead for Aerodynamics for Artemis missions.

Performed analyses on NASA projects. Work has included both ascent and descent phases of space flight. Work has included wind tunnel test design, post-test analysis of data, and generation of aerodynamic math models to be utilized by Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C). Works the modeling effort from test planning to final product generation which is valuable in ensuring a product that fully meets the needs to the end user while simultaneously seeking efficiency in the wind tunnel testing process to save both time and money. Generated a number of force and moment aerodynamic databases as well as surface pressure databases for the Ares I, Ares I-X, and SLS programs. Main area of focus for the Ares program was the reentry analysis of the SRB after burnout and jettison, which encompasses challenging aerodynamics and trajectories to determine environments and recovery system deployment conditions. Served as the leader during the Ares program on analysis and generation of aerodynamic models for the reentry phase of flight of the SRBs. As very few systems actually recover boosters after reentry those with knowledge of this unique phase of flight are extremely limited. In conjunction with a team performing computational fluid dynamic (CFD) analysis, developed a MATLAB® “black box” 6 degree of freedom (DOF) simulation of the jettison of panels from the launch vehicle.
