I have been a Behavioral Health Specialist in the U.S. Army for over four years and I have gained more experience than most individuals do in ten years. I have learned to work as a team, respect others, engage in creative problem solving, and so much more. I have interacted and worked with an extremely diverse group of individuals through my time in the Army, allowing me to accomplish tasks while utilizing a broad perspective and see problems from the perspectives of others. Being a student at George Mason University allowed me to broaden my skills in Business Analytics, Management, Market Research, Advertising, and Leadership. I have been a member of Army ROTC and several honor societies: Phi Kappa Phi, Tau Sigma, SCLA, and the GMU Economics Society. Through three years of ROTC, I have refined my skills in communications, organization, leadership, and planning. I have gained experience in RStudio, Adobe Spark, search engine optimization, and a firm understanding of contract law through my courses.While earning my Associate's Degree at Richard Bland, I earned the Academic Excellence Award in Business and Economics while being the president of the RBC Business and Economics Club. I became a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and was on the dean's list the entire year I was there. My time in Prince George High School provided me with many opportunities, the most beneficial of them was the school's DECA Club. This club allowed my passion and skills in marketing to begin and grow. As one of the club's leading officers, I learned how to communicate to large audience, in-person and digitally, through numerous public speaking opportunities and event organization activities.
