This was a cross functional team from front, middle, and back office · David put in place the operational risk reporting process required for all Equity , Derivatives and Fixed Income products, and used structured project management methods (Prince2 compliant)

Interim DIrector of IT at the British Airways low cost airline subsidiary - GoResponsibility: Day to Day running of IT department in support of the primary business functions. Description: · David prepared a five-year IT strategy and operating plan, and made recommendations to the CEO on the role and organization of the IT department, and identified key risks.· David completed the selection of suppliers for e-commerce and web services and for call center enhancements and primary business functions such as the Web site (generating approximately half of company revenue) revenue management, booking and reservation systems, check-in applications, and flight crew scheduling systems.· David also initiated a cross industry contact board to facilitate ‘learning’ within IT and coordinate efforts to improve outsourced service provision.
