Having my own business had always been a goal of mine, and in 2010 I founded Davro Solutions Limited (DAVRO).I wanted to utilize my skills in business, administration, and IT to organize and manage everything myself, from company set up, finance system, payroll, cloud storage, mobile devices, office set up, email/domain, logos/website/SEO and everything else involved in setting up and running a company from scratch.To better suit my clients' hardware/software/licensing needs, supplier/distributor and reseller accounts were established with a number of third-party businesses, and monthly managing of invoices, statements, purchase orders, credit notes was required.Being a company owner, and learning the day-to-day operations of an SME in New Zealand, has helped me to become a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to IT and Business for my clients, allowing me to add value and assist with anything and everything in the world of technology and business.My role at Davro includes both managing and servicing my own clients, as well as contracting out to other businesses in a Senior Systems Specialist / SME Advisor / IT Consultant role.

I partnered with Celsius IT in 2010 and quickly found their style of customer driven business to be a perfect fit for myself and my existing IT clients.The team at Celsius IT gave both excellent additional support/backup for my clients, and also provided me some new and exciting challenges for a number of already existing Celsius IT clients.Over my 14 year span at Celsius IT, I provided top-level IT and Business support for a number of clientele across a vast range of industries including the Professional Services, Food & Beverage, Engineering, Manufacturing and Automotive industries to name a few.I was considered as 'part of the team' with all of my clients, acting as their IT Manager and involved in IT planning, business strategy and project management. My role at Advanced Networks was split between Support and Sales (Technical Support and Account Manager).Alongside my continued IT Hardware/Software/Licensing support for clients, my role included a higher level of required reporting and documentation, including weekly meetings/presentations with clients and staff.A greater emphasis was placed on Sales than in my previous roles, which allowed me to gain more experience with finance and CRM systems, and meeting monthly KPIs/Sales targets etc.Across various clients, I was able to experience and learn a number of different Hardware manufactures devices, including HP, Apple, Microsoft, IBM, Lenovo, Samsung, Logitech, Asus, Acer. Alongside that, I was also involved in the building and sale of in-house Advanced Networks PCs/Systems.

As a Junior IT Support Technician, my initial role at Co-SYS was predominantly client support based. This was largely on-site at client office spaces and other client locations, or via email/mobile support.The role included both hardware/software/licensing sales, as well as set up and on-going support of new and existing hardware/software (Servers, PCs, Laptops, Printers, Boardrooms, Network, Backup Systems, Security Systems, Finance Systems) for a large number of clients for Co-SYS.My experience on-site at client locations allowed for a much wider knowledge of client needs and allowed me to grow my business/IT strategy planning skills.
