Shift supervisor on board. working with multiple Hugin 6000's

Responsibilities include the installation, set up, testing, calibration and operation of a variety of survey systems. To collect, arrange and present survey data and results. To maintain and repair survey equipment. Experienced with Fugro’s GLog / GPlot data acquisition and plotting package and the wide range of acquisition and peripheral devices interfaced to those systems. Additional experience with digital acquisition systems, ROTV, geotechnical and environmental systems. Experienced with a wide range of technical and business IT applications in Windows.Involved in high resolution seismic surveys, geophysical site surveys, environmental surveys, geotechnical surveys, geo hazard surveys, pipeline and cable route surveys.

The majority of work was rig site surveys and pipeline surveys.I worked as part of the Survey crew whose primary aim is to acquire good quality 2D data using an array of sound sources and digital data acquisition systems. I was responsible for the deployment/ recovery and maintenance of this equipment.Working alongside other departments whilst on-board my role can extend to assisting with the environmental work, covering camera footage, day grabbing and water sampling.Our team of engineers often takes on the geo-technical work where as a whole we are responsible for the safe deployment and recovery of core sampling equipment.
