Post Doctoral Fellow
Acted in the capacity of a postdoctoral fellow to develop small molecule chemotherapeutics for the treatment of STAT3 and STAT5 mediated malignancies and diseases• Developed, evaluated, and optimized chemotherapeutic drug candidates for the treatment of refractory brain cancer (medulloblastoma) and pancreatic cancer.• Gram-scale synthesis of lead drug candidates for in vivo evaluation and performed initial pharmacokinetic characterization of lead compounds to enable further pre-clinical evaluation. • Mentored graduate and undergraduate students in the disciplines of organic synthesis and medicinal chemistry to help them develop critical skillsets for their areas of study.
