In addition to the Search Data team, took over two additional teams related to Search at Amazon. The Browse Assignment team was responsible for assigning all the products at Amazon to the browse hierarchy and essentially making them discoverable on the site. The Browse Software team was responsible for vending the Browse Assignment information on the site. This team was a tier-1 service at Amazon which was required for any page to be displayed.

Managed a team of software developers as Amazon spun off A9 to the Bay Area. Our group was responsible for pulling in all the Amazon data needed for our search index and sending to A9 in real time. We built a repository for all the catalog data along with all the other data needed (price, availability, browse information) and would send updates and aggregates to A9 as they changed at Amazon.

Worked as a TPPM (Technical Program/Product Manager) to try and get our customers to understand we sell more than Books, Music and Video at Amazon. The group was short lived at Amazon.

Started as a software developer in the Associates group but quickly moved to being a TPM and then a manager of the TPM group. Worked to build out the Associates program at Amazon. The major deliverable was pushing content to 3rd party sites instead of serving static content.
