Supervised, scheduled, and executed more than 300 Damage Control drills and the completion of over 120 Damage Control Self-Assessment Material check sheets ensuring optimal material and personnel readiness. - Revised and updated 13 shipboard Instructions, was responsible for three Engineering Department Management programs, and oversaw and coordinated cross departmental assignment and responsibilities for all personnel on the General Quarters Watchbill, and General Quarters watch team replacement plan. - Implemented a new training schedule that led to 100% shipboard qualification in Basic Damage Control (330 personnel) and the complete qualification of three Damage Control Repair Lockers (30 personnel each), six Import Emergency Teams (15 personnel each) and one Sea Flying Squad (15 personnel). - Led a division of 20 personnel responsible for the upkeep and maintenance on all fire fighting equipment on board USS OKANE.
