David is a flood risk management sustainable drainage (SuDS) specialist and has 37 years of infrastructure and water engineering experience. This has included substantial time spent overseas in places as diverse as Qatar, Australia and China. David is a chartered member (C.WEM) of the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management. He has also previously been an active participant of the British Water Sustainable Drainage Focus Group and was part of this organisation’s Department of Trade & Industry Global Watch Mission to the United States of America on Sustainable Drainage, during March 2006. This was followed up with his inclusion on a UK water companies' SUDS visit to the USA in November 2011.
