My primary objective is to contribute my knowledge and skills to an organization that will reward my efforts with new experiences, insights, and continued career potential. Moreover, I wish to continue the development of my skill and knowledge base so that I may improve my ability to provide sound and innovative solutions as a member of an environmental and health and safety team.I have earned a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental engineering and for more than twenty-five (25) years have been directing environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) and risk management activities including National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) compliance, training development and presentation, developing EH&S standard operating procedures (SOPs), conducting industrial hygiene surveys, and managing workers compensation and claim activities. I currently oversee the execution of safety/risk management and regulatory compliance programs for Southern California Edison (SCE) Environmental Operations Division to reduce the frequency of incidents/injuries to employees, vendors, and customers and to ensure the proper execution of SCE's hazardous material/waste and regulatory compliance programs. Furthermore, I have established effective working relationships with corporate management, employees, district/region managers, and other business partners to facilitate the appropriate execution of EH&S and risk management programs and policies.
