Advised House Speaker on state budget issues and helped negotiate compromises with the Governor and Senate leadership. Helped Speaker’s team create and implement legislative and messaging strategies. Developed programmatic visions for long-term and short-term public policy discussions (i.e. Ed Flex & Freedom To Learn). Helped manage staff of approximately 15 advisors who provided policy expertise and advice to the Speaker and the House majority caucus.
