With over twelve years of teaching experience, I am passionate about educating and inspiring the next generation of tourism and hospitality professionals. As the THEM option coordinator at IU School of Public Health, I oversee the curriculum, assessment, and accreditation of the Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Management program, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of quality and relevance. I also teach courses on topics such as destination management, hospitality operations, and sustainable tourism, drawing on my academic background and industry experience. I hold a Master of Science degree from the University of Central Florida – Rosen College of Hospitality Management, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University. My core competencies include curriculum development, program evaluation, instructional design, online teaching, and student advising. I am committed to advancing the field of tourism and hospitality through research, service, and collaboration. My goal is to foster a diverse, inclusive, and innovative learning environment that prepares students for the dynamic and global challenges of the 21st century.
